Block Management Audit (Health Check)
When we commence management of a new property, a full management audit is conducted to establish the buildings ‘health’. This audit will look at a variety of things including general maintenance requirements, Health & Safety, Fire Risk Assessment, long term major works planning, compliance with the lease, etc.
After the audit has been conducted an action list is prepared identifying what needs to be done and in what priority, while also considering short, medium and long-term planning. Once the health of the property has been maximised, we then retain the high levels of management to ensure this standard is maintained.
All income and expenditure would of course be accounted for each year within the annual accounts in line with ICAEW and the estate rules & regulations, this includes a full reconciliation of finances from the previous agent on handover – in addition we manage the whole handover process for you and liaise directly with the previous managers to ensure that our comprehensive handover checklist is completed.
